Random Ways to Spread the Word
Please get involved and help spread the word! Remember that only a small proportion of our public is aware that frogs are disappearing, and that amphibian conservation efforts will not be successful until amphibian declines are common knowledge: think of how long it has taken for any political action on global warming to occur! Politicians rarely act until the public demands action. Our goal is to make the amphibian extinction crisis common knowledge by the 2nd Annual Save The Frogs Day: April 30th, 2010. Help make it happen! On this
page we offer you a multitude of ways to help us spread the word about the largest mass extinction event in 65 million years. We'll be updating this page on a regular basis, so please check back every week or two. And please sign up for the SAVE THE FROGS! mailing list (look to the left!) so we can keep in touch with you about important news and events.

Flyers to post at your school or workplace
Just left-click on any of these and a PDF will open in a separate window. Try to print them in color if possible! Put them up at your school, office, or on a local grocery store's bulletin board.
Print out the Save The Frogs Day petition sheet below and use it to collect signatures, which we will send in when we ask your governor/mayor to legally recognize Save The Frogs Day. These signatures will help convey to your politicians the importance of amphibian conservation. Further, by collecting these signatures, you'll be spreading the word every time you talk to someone about Save The Frogs Day.

In an effort to raise awareness of the plight of amphibians, the scientific community has declared April 30th, 2010 the 2nd Annual Save The Frogs Day. On this day we encourage the appreciation and celebration of amphibians by people from all walks of life.

Amphibian populations worldwide are in the midst of a mass extinction, yet most people are still completely unaware! We need your help in getting the word out.
This contest will raise awareness of the amphibian extinction problem by getting people involved and interested. The best frog art will be used on t-shirts and posters, and to illustrate a book of frog poetry that will be sold to raise money for amphibian conservation efforts. This book will feature poetry from our concurrent 1st Annual Frog Poetry Contest http://savethefrogs.com/poetry

Do you use email?
Yes, of course you do. A great way to spread the word is to add www.savethefrogs.com to the automated signature of every email you send. Just go to your mail options or settings and there should be a place to make an automated signature.
